Documenting my memories of my father, and his memories of his father.

創作動機

作夢時夢到與父親回老家，老家一片荒蕪。以前種菜瓜的地方鋪滿了黃色的符紙，家族裡的往生者都回到老家那個地方，聊著彼此生活狀態。這個畫面在我夢醒時一直記得，我很想將它化為影像，因而拍了電影。

I dreamt of accompanying my father back to his old house in his hometown. The house was worn down and desolate. The plot of land that used to grow loofah, is now laden with yellow incense paper. Dead family members have returned to this plot of land, reminiscing about their life. Through this film, I hope to record the images from this dream, to preserve it as a memory.
