身為天主教徒的研究所畢業生米蘭要拍一部關於宗教救贖的影片，但籌備過程不斷碰壁，迫使她不得不思考自己的個人問題。她尋找自己和男友婚前性行為給自己帶來的心理壓力的緣由，並透過尋求神父幫助、老師的指點、童年的回憶、奇異的夢境和人們的不斷質疑聲中尋找自我存在的意義。
As a graduate of the Catholic Institute, Milan wants to make a film about religious salvation. However, the process of preparation keeps on coming to a halt, forcing her to think about her own personal problems. Understanding and finding herself and her boyfriend’s premarital sex behavior gave the excuse of having psychological stress. Through the help of seeking a Priest’s help, a teacher’s guidance, and past childhood memories , strange dreams and people’s constant questionings allowed for seeking self-existence.
創作動機
費里尼說“夢是唯一的現實”，生活中那些暫時無解的難題我也只能到夢中去尋找答案了。你可以說這是另一種逃避的方法，但我們有時就是沒辦法搞清楚原因，時常停留在那些自問自答中痛苦不已。因此我想借由創作想明白某些問題，並表達這種矛盾和糾結，接受與逃避是始終伴隨著我們的。
Fellini said, “Dreams are the only reality”, those unresolvable issues that occur in our everyday lives can only be resolved through finding the answer in our dreams. You can say that this is another way of escaping, but sometimes there are moments we just simply can not figure the root causes of certain things that happen and quite often we remain questioning ourselves painfully. Thus, I want to use a creative outlet to clearly understand certain issues, to further express these contradictions and entanglements- that acceptance and escapism will always be a part of us.
